Food bloggers + Moms + Recipe Pinning Junkies = Try it Tuesday
In late summer 2014, in a private message between friends, a challenge was born – a Pinterest challenge to actually make what we pinned. Maria dubbed the challenge Try It Tuesday. When we first started out we committed to making one new recipe each week on Tuesday. We quickly found that in our crazy busy lives committing to making it on a specific day each week didn’t always happen all the time. So Try it Tuesday became Try it Tuesday – Making a New Recipe Any Day of the Week!

She is raising four kids with her high school sweetheart turned G.I. Joe. She keeps the home fires burning, leads a Girl Scout troop, plans events, volunteers at 3 schools and narrowly survives the carpool line every day of the week.

Rae is an expat Californian transplanted from sunny central California to the wilds of Utah. Two landlocked years later (no, the Great Salt Lake is not a substitute), her family was transferred to the Pacific Northwest were she can happily see “real” trees out her office window and is a few short hours from the beach she loves. She is currently working at a local middle school and as an independent marketing and graphic design consultant. In her spare time she loves to read, write (she completed her first novel during National Novel Writing Month 2013), geocache, cook, and be a mom. She cooks like she colors…outside the lines
She lives with a loving, supportive husband, a pre-teen daughter, a dog who has her own business cards, and a neurotic cat who eats plastic house plants.
